Who can apply to join Weavehand as an artisan?

Any practising Indian craftsperson making authentic handmade work. Minimum 3 years of experience preferred. We onboard individuals, family workshops and SHGs (Self Help Groups).

Is there a fee to join Weavehand?

No. Onboarding is completely free. We earn only from a transparent commission on each sale — typically 18–28% — which covers payment processing, photography, listing, packaging, shipping and export.

How long does onboarding take?

Typically 7–21 days from application. Includes a verification call, product photography, story interview, pricing workshop and account setup.

Do you help with pricing my work?

Yes. We run a free pricing literacy session for every onboarded artisan — covering material cost, labour value, market pricing, and our transparent margin.

1You make handmade craft — any of our 300+ supported art forms or related.
2You're 18 or older and have at least 2 years of practical experience.
3You can produce at least 5 pieces per month (we'll never demand more than you can comfortably make).
4You're willing to share your story — we believe customers buy stories, not just objects.
